Production Operator (M/F/X)

Mission & Context

Join Desobry as a Production Operator and participate in the manufacturing of our high-quality biscuits and pastries at our Tournai site.

On a daily basis, you will ensure the preparation of doughs, shaping, and production monitoring, while guaranteeing product compliance with the quality, hygiene, and food safety requirements specific to our industry.

Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare doughs according to defined recipes and operating procedures: kneading, weighing, and resting times.
• Ensure the adjustment and operation of depositors, rotary molders, humidifiers, and decoration equipment.
• Monitor the shaping process, adjust parameters if necessary, and report any anomalies.
• Control the quality of ingredients before use and record traceability data (FIFO method).
• Ensure a clear handover of information between teams during shift changes.
• Maintain order and cleanliness in work areas and perform regular equipment cleaning.
• Rigorously apply HACCP, GHP, and GMP rules as well as current safety instructions.

Profile & Required Skills

• Experience in industrial production, ideally in the food processing or bakery/pastry sector.
• Proficiency in kneading and shaping processes (resting times, machine parameters).
• Ability to perform precise equipment adjustments and manage multiple operations simultaneously.
• Rigor, autonomy, and responsiveness to production contingencies.
• Strong team spirit and communication skills during shift handovers.
• Knowledge of HACCP / GHP / GMP rules is an asset.
